- Multi-Perspective Palm Reading -
Perspective 6: The 'SKIN QUALITY'!
A thorough skin quality assessment should include both the inner side of the palm and fingers + the back (dorsal side) of the hand.
One should also be aware the quantity of the manifesting skin disorders might depend on the level of stress - as an option one can therefore also include the presence of skin problems in the past in the assessment (when appropriate).
SKIN QUALITY plays a decisive role in the hand-diagnosis for e.g. the following disorders:
diabetes mellitus,
psoriasis,
rheumatoid arthritis,
schizophrenia
- SKIN PROBLEMS -
Skin problem can manifest via a large amount of variations in skin color & skin structure. Often these are harmless - especially when they are caused by an injury/trauma (and treated with proper hand hygience).
But there are many skin variations that have a high specific diagnostic value for specific disease - the typical skin variations in psoriasis are a relatively common example.
(More specified guidelines will follow later)
